Le tre fonti B & B – guesthouse has been developed from an ancient farmhouse, surrounded by 7 hectares of lawns and olive groves.

It is located half-way between Perugia and Chiusi, between Umbria and Tuscany. 20 years ago my companion, Ingeborg Fridrich (German), and myself, Yves Ratheau (French), bought this country villa, then almost a ruin, and we relocated here with our daughter.

Step by step, with tender loving care we have renovated the house and the land, creating a special oasis between traditional and modern styles.

In 2002, we opened the B& B – guesthouse.

Le tre fonti speaks of running water which gurgles in wells and pools around the house. Nature permeates everywhere, the daily rhythm slows down, the tensions ease out….

One can draw closer to intimate inner spaces. Conditions are created to, daily, live restfully, opening the door to inner knowledge and creativity.

The spaces are light and fresh in Summer, warm and welcoming in Winter.

The rooms, finished to the fine detail and individually furnished, all have an independent entrance and a private bathroom.

I have also made the beds and much of the furniture.

Le tre fonti  is located in a protected position on the side of a hill, but is easy to reach, (1km from Tavernelle). It is an ideal stopping place for those who wish to visit the region, straddling Umbria and Tuscany, to become familiar with the marvelous historical landscape and to enjoy the rich local wines and gastronomical delicacies.

Here, amongst the verdant nature, you can be at ease, you can rest and enjoy your time.

In the Summer you can enjoy French-Italian Breakfast directly in the small pergola gardens in front of your room. I will be available to give information and satisfy any curiosity you may have.
